Last Sunday, Bridger and I went to church, can you believe a 15 month old is that excited about being quiet (or attempting to be quiet) for nearly 3 hours? We got home and took a nap, than decided to go for a walk. I bundled Bridger up and off we went in the 30 degree weather. Jeremy was on night shift so we needed to get out of the house for another hour or so and let him sleep in peace for a little while longer! Uncle Corde gave Bridger the cute hat and we strolled around the neighborhood like 2 crazy people without anything else to do on a chilly Sunday afternoon. We like to take walks with the stroller, I strap Bridger in and can control him and he enjoys all the scenery. Another 30 minutes during the day that I consider relaxing!

Bridger asleep?

The only downtime around the Jensen home is when Bridger is taking a nap or sleeping at night! Although, Jeremy and I both hate to admit it, we often laugh because of the silence in the house while he is down almost scares us. We like to checkup on him because of the uneasy feeling we get from the quiet times and this is what we have found....

My neck hurts from looking at that picture and let me reassure you all that his bumper pad was tied to the crib before we put him to bed! Yikes! Yes, we did rearrange him both times for you folks that think we are crazy parents!

Bath time

We have a jacuzzi tub in our new home that is big enough for 4 people! Bridger and I often soak up some bubbles on a given afternoon that might only be 10 degrees outside! We put bubble bath in and fill the tub 1/2 full than turn on the jets to make a REAL bubble bath! I think he eats enough bubbles to make anyone sick, and it takes me the whole time trying to smash the bubbles so we can get out before we shrivel up like prunes!Jeremy showers in the morning and I shower at night when Bridger is sleeping because neither of us can be in the bathroom without an unexpected guest stripped down to his diaper whining to join in! He likes to be where the action is I suppose, and I hate showering so I am only in for 5 minutes but bath time is much longer and may be a 2 hour process!

Hats, gloves, and shoes

Bridger loves hats, especially because he only sees his dad without one at church and during prayer. He likes to pretend all kinds of things are hats. One day he came out of his room with the navy blue/red hat on that he must of found in his closet. I think someone gave it to me while I was pregnant with him, anyways he is so cute when he wears it. He also loves to put oven mits on and play catch with balls. That is his favorite word and he repeats constantly with his hands out "where'd the ball go?" He thinks buddy wears a hat as well so that is why we have a spare dog collar on his head because he loves buddy and likes to harass him. Bridger is constantly going going going and never ceases to amaze us. To complete this ensemble, Bridger has taken an extreme interest in shoes, but not specifically his own, everyone elses. We love him and most of the time he makes me laugh cause he is so dang cute!

New Years Eve!

For New Years Eve we went out to the Buck n Ball, which is a rodeo that only features rough stock (Bullriding, Saddle Bronc and Bareback?). It is a big deal here in Gillette, they only sell so many tickets and the tickets were pricey at 20 bucks each. We had lots of fun, especially getting Bridger all dressed up in his cowboy apparel. The last time grandpa took Bridger up to a horse at one of Uncle Cordes rodeos he wanted nothing to do with that, boy things changed! The bleechers were jam packed and Bridger sat on my lap just yelling every time another rider came out of the pen. He especially liked the bullriders, his dad says that is worse comes to worse and he doesn't get much bigger at least he will have a perfect size shape for bullriding. (I say no way to that) He loved being there and was so exhausted by the time we got home but it was a fun night for all!
